As of 2010, there are 8 active routes, 2 inactive routes that were built and abandoned, 5 future routes being planned. The Trans-Jakarta system operates Hino buses imported from Japan, Hispanic-Mercedes buses, Hyundai buses imported from South Korea, and articulated buses manufactured by Huanghai and Komodo in China.
