The Strathcona County Transit system serves mainly the Edmonton suburban community of Sherwood Park, with links to downtown Edmonton and the University of Alberta. Into the mid-2000s, SCT was known to enthusiasts as having a rather oddball fleet of second-hand buses and ex-demonstrators, a reputation which was diminished somewhat when the county began steadily purchasing new Nova LFS buses beginning in 2005.
