The town of St. Albert, located just outside Edmonton to the north-west, has its own transit service that includes both local routes and commuter routes to key points in the city of Edmonton such as the downtown core, the University of Alberta and West Edmonton Mall. Their fleet as of 2009 consists mainly of New Flyer low floor buses, along with a handful of high floor articulateds for peak period service and several Thomas SLF buses that are restricted to local service.
