Edison Transportation LLC, an American-based transportation management company contracted by VANOC, is responsible for managing and operating a fleet of 300 buses during the Winter Olympic and Paralympic games taking place in Vancouver and Whistler during the months of February and March of 2010. This special fleet of buses is mainly consisted of retired transit buses such as Gillig Phantoms, GMC and Novabus RTSes, MCI Classics, Flexible Metros, New Flyer D40s and New Flyer D40LFs, purchased from various American transit agencies based in the states of California and Arizona.

This fleet of buses is currently undergoing maintenance preparations and mechanical inspections in Lyndon, WA, before they hit the roads of Vancouver and serve our guests and visitors during the Olympic games.
