Guo-Guang Bus had long since retired all of its MC-8s and MC-9s before Trans-Continental's photographers ever set foot in Taiwan. However, one MC-8, former plate number FA-986, has been preserved as a static display on the grounds of the Takao Railway Museum in Kaohsiung, which photographer George Prior visited in May of 2014. It is very likely that there are other hulks of old MCI buses rotting away in fields in other parts of Taiwan.
